A vehicle incident closed the highway in both directions in Westwold, between Pinaus Lake Road and Westwold Back Road.
“Expect some delays to remain due to congestion,” DriveBC says.
(Original story: Sep.t 9 @ 2:40 pm) – Highway 97 is closed in both directions between Kamloops and Vernon, says DriveBC.
According to an update provided shortly before 2:30 pm on Monday, a vehicle incident in Westwold has the highway closed in both directions.
The incident is between Pinaus Lake Road and Westwold Back Road.

“Power pole down, please obey all flaggers. Watch for crew on the road,” DriveBC says.
According to DriveBC, the next update is not scheduled to come out until 4 pm.
