(UPDATE: Oct. 22 @ 11 am) - Rush will now be playing two shows in British Columbia next winter.
The band announced on Tuesday that its 2026 tour had been extended to 17 additional cities. Now, just 24 hours later, a second show has been added to every single one of those cities.
According to Live Nation, the quick decision to double up on all 17 new cities was due to "incredible demand."
The show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2026, was originally meant to be the final date of the band's Fifty Something Tour. Now the city will host the final two dates, as the second show is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17, 2026.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon on Friday, Oct. 31, through the Rush website. An American Express presale opportunity begins at noon on Friday, Oct. 24, until end of day on Sunday, Oct. 26.
(Original story: Oct 21 @ 11 am) - If you’ve been watching the Toronto Blue Jays’ run to the World Series, you’ve likely seen Geddy Lee shown on the Sportsnet broadcast a few times.
Next year you could potentially see him in person as the iconic Canadian band will hit the road for their first tour in over a decade.
The band announced several new dates to their Fifty Something Tour this morning, which includes a stop at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2026.
General on-sale for tickets to the newly-added shows will go on sale through Rush’s website on Friday, Oct. 31.
Tickets are sure to go fast, as the band says it had already sold out all of the previously announced dates, which included four nights in their hometown of Toronto.

The Fifty Something Tour in 2026 will mark the first time Rush has hit the road since the R40 Tour in 2015.
Of course, the band lost legendary drummer Neil Peart from an aggressive form of brain cancer in 2020 and German drummer Anika Nilles will take his place on the upcoming tour.
A social media post from the group says the tour will be a way for Lee and Alex Lifeson to celebrate over five decades of Rush music and their legacy, as well as honour Peart.
The Vancouver show in mid-December is currently scheduled as the final show of the Fifth Something Tour.
Rush’s run through North America begins in Los Angeles on June 7, 2026, and they’ll play a total of 40 shows in 24 cities during the busy six-month stretch.
